This photo is entitled, “Traffic”. Traffic is what most of us encounter on a daily basis regardless if we live in Bangkok or Chicago. A morning commute filled with the smell of exhaust, the blare of a train whistle, and the squeaky brakes of a mass transit bus awakens us faster than a morning cup of coffee. This is “everyday” stuff.

Sadly, it’s too true – even here in paradise, the city streets in Colombo and Kandy are jam packed full of commuting traffic in the mornings, and late into the evenings.
It seems traffic is getting worse if that is possible. Even short commutes take longer than they use to.
What saddens me is the amount of time so many people have to take getting to and from work, spending less time with their families, or on projects that enrich their lives creatively, or spiritually.
It is a shame that we have created such a rat race. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Enjoy the evening. 🙂

Hi Jamie: I hate traffic. Drives me crazy. There used to be a rush hour, now it’s a rush all day.
Isn’t that the truth! Even on the weekends it is traffic, traffic, and more traffic. 🙂
