In honor of actor Andy Griffith, here is the opening credits of “The Andy Griffith Show.”
Andy Griffith died today at the age of 86. The folksy comedian and star of the 1960’s show entitled “ The Andy Griffith Show” played a wise and good-humored sheriff of Mayberry. He also was the star of Matlock in the 1980’s & 1990’s where he played a folksy defense lawyer.
Andy Griffith’s characters were wise and wholesome, and a throwback to a simpler time. He will be missed.

Yes, he will be missed.
May he RIP.
I grew up with re-runs of “The Andy Griffith Show”. Is still one of those programs that when I see it in re-runs, it never gets old no matter how many times I’ve seen that episode. Also loved his movie “No Time for Sergeants”.
Yes, I grew up on the re-runs myself. They have it still on Me TV and I will catch it once in a while. It is a great show.
