What good is living life if you don't share all the experiences, mistakes, and knowledge you have gained? I am a grandmother, a wife, a mother of two grown children, a Jr. High Teacher for almost two decades, an elementary principal and I want to share my experiences.
Sometimes, I just crave nature. A walk in the woods, the smell of wildflowers, or the buzz of busy bees at work in a meadow, are just the incentives I need to regain my piece of mind. When my life seems crazy, the quiet solitude of nature soothes my soul.
The best part of it all is that it is free. And, even if I can’t get away, I can simply sit in my backyard and envelope myself in the natural world.
Hello, It is always so nice to run into a fellow nature lover! I feel a certain connectedness to the Earth and all life when i work the soil. it gives me a sense of utter tranquility and peace. Every morning I go to my back porch which overlooks my humble garden. This is where I greet the day. It has been a mood lifter as of late.
I loved your post. Very positive! and I certainly think a grandmother must be wise. 🙂
Hi,
Thanks for visiting my blog. Gardening does give one a sense of tranquility and peace. It really doesn’t matter how humble your garden is, it is just a blessing to have one. And, being positive is a wise tactic in this negative world where joy is squashed daily. We’ve got to stand up for happiness before it gets away from us. Have a great day!:)
